Pediatric Stepdown RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Baltimore, Maryland
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty and to other departments as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown experience
- Tracheostomy and ventilator management experience
Patient Population / Unit Focus
- Pediatric and adolescent patients
- Mixed rehab/stepdown setting; PCU experience is not needed
Schedule Details
- Rotating days/nights
- Ratio: 1:4
- On-call not required
Additional Notes
- Scrubs: any color, any pattern
- Must be willing to float to the Largo campus as needed through 10/8/26, if needed
