SICU RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse
• Location: Billings, Montana
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Weekly hours: 36
• Floating: Primarily within Critical Care Division; may float to other units as census needs
• Schedule note: Block scheduling may be considered for day/night shifts
• Experience level: Not a novice/entry-level RN position

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid RN license in Montana
• Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU experience: SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year; 1 year of SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience required
• MICU experience: MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
• Clinical capability: Must be able to work independently with complex, high-acuity medical and trauma/neuro/surgical ICU patients
• BLS certification: BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification: ACLS issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• References: 2 references required, including a direct supervisor reference within the last year
• Employment history: Current application with 7 years of employment history and explanation for gaps greater than 30 days
• Background screening: 7-year background check required within 30 days of start and renewed annually
• Drug screening: Negative drug screen within 30 days of start and renewed annually
• Health screening: Negative TB testing required and renewed annually
• Immunizations/documentation: COVID vaccination or approved exemption required; flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Fit testing: Quantitative fit test required within 90 days prior to start unless completed onsite; must be clean shaven
• Education verification: Highest level of education must be verified
• Identification: Current valid government photo ID, driver’s license/state ID, or passport required
