Telemetry Nurse

Location

Dayton, Ohio

Contract

13 weeks
Travel/contract assignment
Night shift
4x12 hours
36 or 48 hours accepted
No block schedule
Must be available to work at least every other holiday
Must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
No local candidates
No travel partners
No more than 7 days of requested time off will be approved
May float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units and may be floated to other campuses as needed

Unit Details

Mixed-acuity advanced care/step-down unit
Target patient ratio is 1:4, with ratios up to 1:5–6
Team nursing model may be used

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry experience: 1.5 years of experience
Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience with advanced care level drips
Experience working in advanced care or step-down units
Stepdown experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

48-hour contracts include overtime after 48 hours
N95 fitting is required before working on the unit unless PAPR is offered or needed
Medical exemptions are not accepted
