Labor and Delivery RN
Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN position in West Hollywood, California.
- October starts only.
- 13-week assignment.
- Shift: Nights, 4x12 hours (19:00–7:30).
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
- On-call: not required.
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with High Risk Labor and Delivery patients
- Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated.
Float / Unit Coverage
- May rotate through L&D, circulator, baby RN, triage, and high risk antepartum.
Additional Notes
- Pass/fail testing and competency requirements apply during onboarding.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start is required.
- Fit test within 1 year is required.
- Negative TB or chest X-ray is required within 1 year of start.
- Drug testing is required within 1 year of start.
- References are required.
