Operating Room RN - Women and Children's (Pediatric) Hospital

Location

Charleston, West Virginia

Assignment Type

Travel/Contract

Unit

30-bed Operating Room unit for pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years

Schedule

Day shift
Either 5x8s or 4x10s
Shift times: 0645-1515 or 0645-1715
Call required: 6-8 call shifts per month, with some weeknights and weekends on a rotating schedule

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in West Virginia
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Driver's License
Ability to scrub
Ability to circulate
Experience in the general operating room (OR)

Preferred Qualifications

IV start
Experience in a pediatric setting
Experience in women’s specialty
Robotic experience

Additional Details

Will not float to sister facilities
Blocked schedule cannot be guaranteed
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Cerner, Accudose, and SBAR are used for charting/workflow
Bright blue scrubs
Free parking on site

Submission Notes

Flu vaccine, medical exemption, or religious exemption is required
COVID vaccination is not required
Candidate must provide the requested credentialing and onboarding documents before start
