Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
• 13-week assignment
• Day and evening shifts, 5x8s
• Start times: 0645, 0900, 1100, 1445
• On-call is required as needed
• Weekend coverage is required as needed
• Floating within scope is allowed
• Block scheduling can be accommodated
• Locals are accepted
• Pending license is accepted
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• RTO limit: no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ortho experience required

Preferred

• General OR experience as secondary

Facility Context

• Acute care teaching hospital
• Level 3 trauma center
• 317 staffed beds
• Scrubs provided
• Epic (Excellian) charting

Additional Notes

• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start is required
• Tdap is required
• Negative TB or chest X-ray is required
• Respiratory safety clearance is required
• Background check and Minnesota DHS clearance are required
• References are not required for client clearance and will not delay start
• Drug testing is not required for client clearance
• Flu documentation is not required but is strongly recommended
