Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 16-week contract
Unit / Assignment Details
- Palliative Care 11th FL
- The unit focuses on symptom management for patients still under treatment, including uncontrolled pain, severe nausea/vomiting, failure to thrive, and fatigue
- Candidates should be med surg nurses interested in building palliative care skills and floating to other high-acuity med surg units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Palliative experience
- Experience with Epic
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Must float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Preferred
- Previous travel experience
Additional Notes
- If scheduled on a rotating contract, shifts may include days, nights, or both depending on department needs
- Shift assignments are reviewed every 4 weeks and may change based on staffing priorities
