Day shift, 3x12 hours
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
36 hours per week

Unit / Setting

Telemetry unit
Adults to Geriatrics
36 rooms
Average daily census of 35
Patient diagnoses include CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Epic

Preferred

NIH Stroke Certification

Work Expectations

Perform own vital sign checks and blood glucose checks
Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
Every other weekend
No call

Time Off / Scheduling Limits

Maximum 7 days of RTO
Blackout dates: April 4th–12th

Additional Notes

Navy blue scrubs
Major holidays may be required depending on assignment dates
Non-billable orientation hours are determined by contract length
