Role Overview
- Acute Care Float Pool RN
- Start date: 11/16
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00–19:30 / Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00–7:30
- Hours per week: 36
- Ratios: 1:5
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Within hospital, within scope
- Locals accepted: Yes
- First-timers accepted: Can screen to manager
- RTO restriction: 1 week max
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- 2 years of float experience
- Float experience within the last year
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- CPI
Unit / Clinical Setting
- The unit deals with medical, surgical, medical tele, surgical tele, infusion, ortho, and neurosurgery
Additional Notes
- Call is not required
- No floating to sister hospitals
- Block scheduling is not accommodated unless otherwise stated
- Magnet, teaching center, Level 4 trauma facility
- Total staffed beds: 281
