Role

• General pediatrics
• Travel/Contract
• Day shift: 3x11.5 hours, 7:00–19:30
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Pediatrics experience with 2 years of experience
• Pediatrics experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Military Training Network or Heart & Stroke of Canada
• State license verification required
• NURSYS verification required
• 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start
• Background check must include all counties lived or worked, sex offender check, and all aliases in SSN trace
• Education verification or copy of diploma/transcripts required
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable to profession
• Competency exam required as applicable to profession/specialty
• 2 professional references required
• Tdap vaccine required
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 6 months of start

Preferred

• COVID vaccines preferred
• Charge RN or above preferred for references

Additional compliance items

• ACLS required for ER and PACU RNs
• PALS required for Pediatrics
• PALS not required for NICU
• NRP required for NICU
• CNOR required for RNFA unit
• CHEMO required as applicable
• TNCC preferred for ER and Pediatric ER
• Physical exam required for Aya placements only within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 6 months of start
• TB questionnaire required for Aya placements only
• Flu vaccine or approved flu exemption form required during flu season
• Respirator clearance / RespSafety clearance required as applicable
• Orientation guide, confidentiality agreement, non-employee personal information sheet, dress and grooming standards, harassment-free workplace, IT acceptable use policy, and orientation post-test must be completed or reviewed before start
