Pediatric Stepdown
Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Baltimore, Maryland.
- Peds StepDown RN in a mixed rehab unit; PCU is not needed.
- Backfill assignment.
- Patient age group: Pediatrics and Adolescents.
- Ratio: 1:4.
Schedule
- 3x12 rotating days/nights.
- 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend required.
- Holidays required as scheduled.
- On-call not required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown experience
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Experience with mechanical ventilation
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience is acceptable with the required skills.
Floating
- Float within the specialty and other departments as needed.
- May also float to the Largo campus as needed through 10/8/26, if needed.
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Scrubs: any color, any pattern.
