Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Experienced in both Cath Lab and Angiography with scrub experience required.
- Work schedule: 4 shifts of 10 hours each, Monday through Friday.
- On-call requirements: One weeknight per week and one weekend every 4 weeks (from Friday end of shift to 7:00 AM Monday).
- 30-minute response time expected when on call.
- Floating within the site and across the system is mandatory; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation.
- Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment.
- Cancellation policy: Must cancel at least 1.5 hours before shift start. One mandatory cancellation allowed per two-week pay period without penalty.

Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only (including AHA RQI and instructor cards)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA only
- ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Cath Lab procedures, Angiography, and scrub techniques
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- ARRT-R or RCIS certification
Additional Information
- Scrub color guidelines: Any color except all black or camo print for RN/Allied staff; OR/L&D/Cath Lab scrubs are provided.
- Charting system: Epic
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space; EV charging available.
Important Notes
- No return to office (RTO) in the first 2 weeks; maximum 7 days of RTO allowed.
- Must be willing to float as requested.
- Education and compliance documents must be completed and uploaded as required.
This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Technologists with strong scrub skills and flexibility to work varied shifts including on-call responsibilities.
