- 5 to 6 call days in a 2-week period, including weekends
- Must respond to call page and arrive onsite within 30 minutes
- Must work and/or take call on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: No floating between units required
Locals: Accepted
Pending License: Not accepted

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
LA Fire Card (must be obtained prior to or within 30 days of start)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - as applicable
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as applicable
Other certifications may be required based on clinical track and specialty

Required Licenses

Valid Registered Nurse license for California
NURSYS verification required
CPDH Certificate required for Respiratory Therapists in CA (not applicable here)

On-Call and Scheduling

Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
5-6 call days every 2 weeks including weekends
Must work or take call on major holidays (New Year's Eve/Day)

Required Health Documents

Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
Fit mask test (annual requirement, completed onsite if no recent record)
Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual update required)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- COVID vaccine or declination
10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)

Background and Compliance Requirements

Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
Education verification required for nursing degree
Employment application covering last 5 years (7 years for APN/subcontractors)
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment in specialty within last 3 years
Various state-specific background checks and attestations as applicable

Training and Competency Requirements

Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Competency exams required by specialty/unit
Epic training modules required prior to or shortly after start
Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS platform
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certifications as applicable
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification or exam for L&D nurses if applicable

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
Recent Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
LA Fire Card (must be obtained prior to or within 30 days of start)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Must be able to work in California and meet all state licensing and regulatory requirements
Must comply with facility-specific float policies (acknowledgement required)
Physical and health documents must be current and uploaded prior to start
Candidates must be prepared for call responsibilities and timely response
