Job Details
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, every other weekend required
- Unit Assignment: Primarily Labor & Delivery (L&D), with possible assignments/floating to NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics units
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years PICU experience
- Must have Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years (open to candidates with level 1 adult facility experience)
- L&D experience required
- License Requirements:
- Indiana State Respiratory Therapist License required (temporary license accepted if applied for both permanent and temporary)
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS (AHA only)
- BLS (AHA only)
- NBRC RRT
- NRP (required if placed in L&D; can be obtained after offer)
- Preferred Certifications:
- PALS (AHA only)
- Education: Must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
Key Requirements
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
- Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NBRC certification
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience
- Minimum 2 years PICU experience
- Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
- NICU or PICU experience
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Indiana RN travelers will not be allowed to work at the facility after 11/30/24 except for Perioperative/OR and Allied specialties
- On-site fit testing is available only as a last resort and not at certain campuses
- Candidates must complete all required facility-specific forms and orientation packets prior to start
- Candidates are paid for time spent completing mandatory RRT modules
