Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, every other weekend required
• Unit Assignment: Primarily Labor & Delivery (L&D), with possible assignments/floating to NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics units
• Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years PICU experience
  • Must have Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years (open to candidates with level 1 adult facility experience)
  • L&D experience required
• License Requirements:

  • Indiana State Respiratory Therapist License required (temporary license accepted if applied for both permanent and temporary)
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (AHA only)
  • BLS (AHA only)
  • NBRC RRT
  • NRP (required if placed in L&D; can be obtained after offer)
• Preferred Certifications:

  • PALS (AHA only)
• Education: Must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA

Key Requirements

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NBRC certification
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience
• Minimum 2 years PICU experience
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• NICU or PICU experience

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Indiana RN travelers will not be allowed to work at the facility after 11/30/24 except for Perioperative/OR and Allied specialties
• On-site fit testing is available only as a last resort and not at certain campuses
• Candidates must complete all required facility-specific forms and orientation packets prior to start
• Candidates are paid for time spent completing mandatory RRT modules
