Unit Overview

Medical surgical/telemetry unit with orthopedic patients
Travelers are expected to float frequently to meet staffing needs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Job Details

Drips are required on all floors
First-time travelers are not accepted, with a possible exception for candidates who have 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
Pending license is accepted; if the license is not in hand at submission, the start date will be scheduled 6 weeks out
Up to 2 weeks of requested time off is permitted
Travelers must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Nicotine-free facility
Scrubs are required and must be Steele gray with the specified logo
Parking is available for a monthly permit or daily rate
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
