Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Los Angeles, California
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Scheduled 5 days per week, with rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license in California
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (1 year of experience)
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current and valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- Education verification or diploma/transcripts
- 2 references at supervisor level or above, with one from within the last year
- Employment application covering the last 7 years, including explanations for gaps of 30 days or more
- Work history verification for the last 5 years, including explanations for gaps of 30 days or more
- Skills checklist
Preferred Qualifications
- Organ transplant experience
- ICU experience
Role Responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy for inpatients in specialized areas such as ICU, transplant, critical care, diabetes, GI, nutrition support, cardiology, and other specialties
- Complete assessment, documentation, implementation, monitoring, education, and reassessment of care plans
- Provide patient education
- Perform NFPE and malnutrition assessment
Onboarding / Compliance
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask within 1 year of start
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation or declination
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and COVID immunization or declination documentation
- Drug screen within the last 12 months
- Required facility training and onboarding documents before start
