MRI Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Wichita Falls, Texas
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), 12 hours per shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Equipment experience: Philips equipment preferred
• Electronic Medical Record system experience: Epic is a plus
• Start dates available: July 27 or August 10

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification
• Previous travel experience

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
• Immunizations/vaccinations required (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing unless otherwise noted):

  • TDAP (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot within 1 year; chest x-ray within 5 years if positive PPD)
  • Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series of 3, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/1–5/31) with option for medical/religious exemption
  • COVID vaccination documentation required
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant acceptable); plan for completion within 72 hours of contract signing

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references within 3 years of start
• Resume or employment application required
• Skills checklist updated annually
• Facility-specific documents and acknowledgments must be completed prior to start, including parking policy and confidentiality agreements

Notes

• This is a travel/contract position with a 13-week duration.
• Workdays are Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
• Prior travel experience is mandatory.
• Experience with Philips equipment and Epic EMR is preferred but not required.
