Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa

Job Summary

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will provide and manage patient care within the Registered Nurse (RN) discipline. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule & Environment

• 36-40 hours per week, overtime billable after 40 hours
• Patient ratio: 4-5 patients during the day / 5-6 patients at night
• EMR system: EPIC
• Orientation available on multiple upcoming dates
• OT/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
• On-call pay available

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• At least 1 prior travel contract completed (prior travel experience required)
• Valid Iowa RN license
• EPIC experience required
• Driver’s license required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification and copy of required certifications
• Work history/resume and supervisory reference required
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Additional Notes

• The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Patient care involves Med Surg/Telemetry on night shifts.
