Job Opportunity: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience required.
At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed (prior travel experience required).

Licenses & Certifications

Valid Iowa nursing license (Compact license allowed).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.

Additional Requirements

Valid Driver’s License.
Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
Work history/resume.
License verification.
Copies of required certifications.
One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (local candidates may be accepted with a rate adjustment).

Orientation

Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly (dates available upon request).

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC

Notes

This position includes opportunities for overtime, holiday pay, call back, and on-call pay multipliers.
Charge nurse and preceptor pay available.

This role is ideal for experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RNs with prior travel nursing experience looking for a temporary assignment in Iowa.
