Temp Registered Nurse (RN) in a pre/post-op setting.

Location

Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Contract Length

Unit Details

2 procedure rooms
3 pre/post bays
Patient types include non invasive cardiology procedures, TEE, cardioversions, stress testing, prep/post, and procedural
Ratio: 1:3

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
Preoperative experience
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Experience with Epic
TEE experience
Cardioversion experience
Driver's License
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred

Stress Testing experience
Professional reference/reference check from within 24 months of today’s date

Schedule

Days
8 hours per day

Additional Details

Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
Contractor is required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
Contractor is required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
NBO: 16 hours
