Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
Schedule: Every weekend or every other weekend rotation (traveler’s choice)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Details

Work on a Medical/Surgical 5th Floor unit
Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6, paired with LPN/CNA support based on acuity
Primary patient cases include Medical/Surgical, COVID, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, post-pacemaker care, and TR Bands
Occasional pediatric patients (rare)
Float within the facility and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
No on-call or call-back requirements
Orientation includes 8 hours unbillable; guaranteed hours except during holidays when unit may be closed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience with pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care
Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Recent experience with Epic charting system

Previous travel experience required; candidates currently working within 50 miles of the corporate center are not eligible
