Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technician (Travel)

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 8-hour shifts, Days 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
Weekend/Holiday: As needed for call
On-Call/Call Back: May be low censused and put on call; minimum 2-hour call back pay
Float Requirements: May float to nearby facility (HYMC Woodruff)

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • ARDMS RDCS, RVT, or CCI
• Experience:

  • 2 years minimum experience preferred (1-2+ years stated, defaulting to higher)
  • Experience with breast imaging, biopsies, and OB required
• Education:

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in an allied health field preferred
• Charting:

  • Epic charting experience preferred

• Routine general ultrasound

Work Environment

• 1-3 techs on unit
• 8-12 exams per tech per day
• Scrub colors: Any
• Radius rule: Candidates must live outside 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; travelers may be put on call during these hours with call back pay if called in
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
• Flu season policy: Travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy; non-compliance may result in corrective action
