Job Overview

Specialty: Critical Care Unit
Location: Duluth, Minnesota

Contract length: 13 weeks
Start date: ASAP
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Schedule

Shift: 12-hour variable day/night rotation
Weekend requirement: 2 out of 4 weekends
Holiday requirement: Every other holiday
Call: May be placed on call during low census; call-back minimum is 2 hours

Work Setting

Float between critical care units, with possible float to lower-acuity units based on census and need

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
1 year of acute care experience within critical care
Critical Care Float (1 year of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
CCU - Coronary Care experience
1 travel assignment

Preferred Qualifications

Critical care experience within the past 3 years
TNCC
CCRN

Additional Notes

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius
Epic experience is preferred
Scrub color: Royal Blue
