Job Overview

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Shift: 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• Weekend/holiday: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed; holiday rotations

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• AWHONN
• PALS
• Critical access hospital experience

Clinical Setting

• Labor and delivery unit with 2 labor rooms and 6 postpartum beds
• Level 1 maternity and Level 1 nursery
• Post-op GYN patients
• Nurses provide labor, postpartum, and newborn nursery care

Float / Assignment Expectations

• May float within OB and L&D
• May also float for tasks to Med/Surg, ER, or ICU
• May need to float to other locations in the Southern region

Scheduling / Attendance Notes

• No on-call or backup requirements
• Up to 7 days of requested time off will be accommodated
• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Travelers may be placed on call during low census periods

Additional Notes

• EPIC charting is required
• Scrub colors are any color; scrubs are provided if going into surgery
• Flu and COVID vaccination refusal requires masking at all times during flu season
