• BLS (Basic Life Support) (required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (required)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (required only for pediatric ER)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and systematic patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric)
• Deliver competent clinical nursing care appropriate to the Emergency Department population
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in emergency equipment and procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing processes and patient progress
• Uphold professional practice responsibilities and adhere to policies and procedures
• Promote patient and family-centered care with professionalism and courtesy
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including patient identification and safe transfer techniques
• Understand conditions, diagnoses, procedures, and equipment relevant to surgical patients
• Provide patient education pre- and post-operatively, including assessing patient understanding
• Support timely completion and evaluation of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders
