Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location

• Neptune, New Jersey

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend work as needed
• Holiday work as needed
• No on-call requirement
• No float requirement

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies
• Assist with intubation and ventilator setup and management
• Gather information needed to evaluate patient needs
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Perform other assigned duties
