Overview
- Travel allied role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 1st, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- May be required to float to other sites
- Monday through Friday coverage includes the CHD location
Required Qualifications
- EEG Technologist (1 year of experience)
- EEG Technologist experience within the last year
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to perform Electroencephalography
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalography and Evoked Potentials (ABRET)
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician

- Autonomics
- Long Term Monitoring
- Evoked Potentials
- Magnetoencephalography
- Registered by ABRET in at least one of the following: Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (EEG), Registered Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Certified Autonomic Professional (CAP), Certified Long Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM), Registered Evoked Potential Technologist
Role Summary
- Prepares patients for EEG, EMG, long-term and intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, autonomic testing, Neuro Interventional radiology WADA, and Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
- Works in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in critical care units for patients of all ages
- Performs neurodiagnostic procedures, prepares testing supplies and equipment, measures and applies electrodes using the International 10-20 System, documents patient history, explains test procedures, and helps maintain quality EEG recordings
- Supports EMU and continuous EEG file review, charge capture, scheduling, patient check-in, and documentation
- Trains on EMG, EVP, Autonomics, Intraoperative monitoring (IOM), WADA, and PET
- Troubleshoots software error messages, equipment malfunctions, and other technical issues
