Employment Type: Contract Staffing (Supplier Sourced)
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Perform CT procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
Conduct daily quality control calibration checks on all CT equipment to ensure proper functioning before patient studies.
Administer radioactive materials to patients as per physician orders and prescribed protocols.
Maintain thorough documentation including logs, manuals, charge documents, and report any equipment issues to comply with regulatory standards.
Perform quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests following radiation safety guidelines and the ALARA principle.
Manage patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.
Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
Verify receipt and activity levels of radiopharmaceuticals on delivery day according to policy.

Valid CT Technologist license in New York
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT certification in Radiography
ARRT certification in CT
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Must exercise appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after CT procedures.
Adherence to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy in imaging.
