New York, NY

Job Type

Contract
Part-time (approximately 15 hours per week)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays
Days off: Monday through Friday

Contract Length

9 weeks

Job Description

Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations
Provide technical assistance to Radiologists
Prepare and examine patients according to departmental procedures
Operate, adjust, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment
Ensure adequate supplies are available
Capture images and transfer them to physicians' workstations
Assist in orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel
May handle scheduling and transportation coordination
Perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)
Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
