Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Schedule: 3rd shift, 3x12s
Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience
- BSN
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including rounds, assessments, treatments, and patient/family education
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
- Delegate and oversee care tasks as appropriate
- Participate in quality improvement activities and unit-based initiatives
