Behavioral Health RN (Registered Nurse)

Location: Show Low, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Behavioral Health travel nurse for a regional hospital in the White Mountains of Arizona. The unit has 12 beds and focuses on geriatric and adult psychiatric patients.

Requirements

• Active Arizona or compact nursing license
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience required (higher value confirmed)
• Ability to perform assessments and medication management
• May be asked to assist with group therapy sessions

Unit Details

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:6
• Patient population: Geriatric Psych and Adult Psych (currently 18+ due to pandemic, goal 55+)
• Support staff: 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) depending on census
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
