Travel Nurse Opportunity: Med Surg (5SE) - Fargo, North Dakota

Specialty

Minimum 1 year recent Medical Surgical experience
Surgical oncology experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications

Active North Dakota or Compact RN License (must specify state)
BLS certification (AHA required)

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift & Schedule

12-hour shifts
Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Unit Details

Home unit: 5SE (Med Surg)
Floating: May float to any med/surg unit on any campus
Bed size: 47 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 (day shift), 6:1 (night shift)

Work Environment & Equipment

Larger hospital setting (minimum 200 beds)
Level 2 or higher trauma center
EMR: Epic
Equipment: AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, Telemetry

Orientation & Training

1 day lead center training
2 twelve-hour shifts on unit with a preceptor (including 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday)

Additional Requirements & Notes

Must badge in and out at the facility
Scrubs color: Navy Blue
Cannot accept travelers living within 60 miles of the facility
Prior employment with the facility requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying
Must provide good interview times for scheduling
