MRI Technologist - Travel Contract
Location: Sacramento, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
A hospital in Sacramento is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel contract position. The role involves working primarily Friday through Sunday with 12-hour day shifts and required on-call shifts.
Schedule
- Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Call: Required 8 shifts per month, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- On-call response time: 30 minutes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license
- Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Fluoroscopy permit
Additional Information
- Candidates must provide 2 supervisory references from modality submitting to (one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years)
- Candidates cannot have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by the associated health system within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable
- Equipment used includes GE Short Bore software
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Call shifts are mandatory with a 30-minute response time
