Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift
• 4 shifts per week, 9 hours each
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Preferred Experience

• IR experience or willingness to learn

Job Duties

• Circulate and monitor cases
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care
• Complete pre- and post-procedure patient calls

Unit Details

• Combined cath and IR lab
• 2 suites/labs
• About 4 cases per day on average
• Common patient types include STEMI, NSTEMI, pacemakers, and IR patients

Call Requirements

• Some weeknight call, about 10 per month
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday call about every 3rd weekend
• Holiday call required and shared among staff
• 30-minute call response time

Floating

• May float within Zone 3 if there is an extreme need

Orientation

• Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
• Unit orientation occurs over a couple of days during the week after general orientation
