Schedule

Day shift
4 ten-hour shifts per week
Start time is 0700; may need to start at 0630 based on case needs
No self-scheduling

Call Requirements

6 call days per 4-week schedule period
Weeknight call: 1730-0700
Weekend call: 0700 Saturday to 0700 Monday
Holiday call may be assigned if holidays fall within the contract
30-minute call response time

Clinical Setting

9 operating suites
10-30 cases per day
Circulator may sit in PACU to support patient recovery as needed

Urology
ECTs
Pain blocks
ENT
Small amounts of vascular, neuro, and head and neck

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Orientation

1 week of unit/department-specific orientation

Additional Notes

Facility supplies scrubs
OR attire policy includes no nail polish for scrubbed personnel, no earrings other than studs unless ears are covered, and no necklaces/jewelry
