Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Most holidays expected
• Schedules are made 3–4 weeks in advance
• Block scheduling is not available

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS
• Active ACLS
• Active NRP
• Active PALS
• Active RRT
• California RRT required; CRT not accepted
• 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• 2–5 years of critical care experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience with Respiratory Therapy Driven Protocols

Assignment Details

• Travel respiratory therapist assignment
• Floating required to all areas except NICU
• First to float
• 2 days of floor-specific orientation
• Strictly protocol-driven setting

Clinical Setting

• Hospital setting
• Covers ICU and other med-surg/tele areas
• 267 beds
• Hospitalist available 24/7
• RT available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7

Common Patient Population / Duties

• Common diagnoses include COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and CHF
• Duties include breathing treatments, ABGs, EKGs, NIV, HFNC therapy, IPV, and PEP/PAP therapy

• Black scrubs
• NPS is needed if working in NICU
