Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Washington RN license
• BLS certification
• CWON certification

Experience

• No prior travel experience required

Work Setting

• Inpatient wound care
• Float coverage to St Clare, St Elizabeth, St Frances, St Anthony, and St Anne as needed

Patient Care / Unit Details

• Treats about 5 to 15 patients per day, depending on consult volume
• Typical team coverage includes 3 to 4 other RNs in the role
• Common cases include ostomies, draining wounds or fistulas, pressure injuries, vascular and arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, incontinence-related skin conditions, surgical and trauma-related wounds, skin/tissue integrity issues, altered continence, and wound vacs

Key Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates wound care consults and recommendations
• Documents care and billing
• Coordinates discharge supplies
• Provides assessment, prevention, and education
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team

Orientation

• Orientation includes all hospitals, with a preceptor and documentation education

• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• No scrub color preference
