Overview
- Role: RN (Registered Nurse)
- Specialty/Unit: 15 Tower Surgical
- Location: Houston, Texas
- Facility: Baylor St Lukes Medical Center
- Contract length: 6 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 12 hours per day, 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- ACLS
- BLS Certification
- NIHSS
- 3+ years of experience
- Prior travel experience
- Open to floating
- Cardiac drip experience
- Flexible with scheduling
- Every other weekend availability
- EPIC familiarity
- Experience working in a very busy hospital
Assignment Details
- Focus on major abdominal surgeries, plastics, ENT, and ortho
- Nurse ratio: 1:5-6
- Includes Whipple abdominal surgery and other abdominal surgery patients
- After 6CA SICU patients, they go here
- Busy, large Level 1 Trauma setting
- No self-scheduling
Additional Notes
- Daily parking is $15+/day
- Monthly parking pass options are available at $95-$120
