Outpatient Hospice Medical Social Worker

Overview

Location: Albany, Oregon
Setting: Outpatient hospice/home-based care
Employment type: Contract
Schedule: Days (0800-1630), no weekends
Hours per week: 24

Hospice social work supporting patients and families through the final stages of illness.

Required Qualifications

Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in Oregon.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience within the last year.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience.
LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker experience.
BLS.
Driver's License.
Auto liability/property damage insurance as required by law.
Personal automobile maintained in good working order.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous hospice experience.
Oregon LCSW.
Experience as a social worker in a hospital or medical setting.

Traveler friends. Unit ratios very appropriate.

Cons

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
