Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Covington, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Daily Caseload: 4 rooms, 12-15 cases per day
• Team: Work alongside a team of 20 physicians
• Call Requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC required
• Preferred Equipment: GE Innova
• Preferred Monitoring/Recording Systems: Maclab, Xper
• Scrubs Provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Louisiana
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record System

Background and Health Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • Must include SSN trace, 7-year county residency, nationwide search, sex offender search
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
  • Background check results may be pending at start but must be updated annually
• Health Documentation:

  • TB Questionnaire required
  • MMR and Varicella attestations required
  • Drug screen attestation required
  • Physical exam, flu vaccine, and other immunizations not required for this assignment
• Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with solid background required

Additional Notes

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exams and other Aya-specific requirements do not affect assignment start and are not required by the client for this profile.
• Candidates must be prepared for call responsibilities as specified.

This position offers a structured day shift with a defined caseload and team environment, suitable for Cath Lab Techs with at least 2 years of experience and required certifications, open to both experienced and first-time travel professionals.
