Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position: OR Tech First Assist
• Specialty experience required in Neuro and plastics
• Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
• Call required: 1-2 weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and holiday coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Surgical First Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Tech First Assist
• Neuro and plastics surgical experience
• Travel experience with at least one prior travel contract completed
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification

Additional Information

• Two positive supervisory references required, supporting at least two years of experience within the last three years
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license information
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform job duties without accommodations and free from communicable disease
• Required to complete facility modules and attestations prior to start
• Drug screen must be within 90 days of start date (does not include marijuana)
• N95 Fit Test required within 9 months of start and updated annually (not required for Sterile Processing Techs)

This position is ideal for experienced Certified Surgical First Assistants with neuro and plastics experience who are comfortable with travel assignments and flexible scheduling including call and holiday coverage.
