Registered Nurse - Wound Care (Travel/Contract)

Job Overview

• Float to various inpatient units and Emergency Department as needed
• On-call during critical events
• Weekend shifts may be required during critical events
• May assist physicians with bedside IND procedures and perform wound debridement as needed
• Patient population includes all hospital inpatient units and ED

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Wound Care experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• WOCNEP or CWOCN certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

• Accepts first-time travel nurses
• One return-to-office request will be accepted
• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
• Badge photo required (passport style, no filters)
• Modules and competencies must be completed by 11:59pm PST on first day of contract; failure to complete within 14 days may result in termination
• May be required to float to other units within the hospital system

Prior Travel Experience

• Not required; first-time travelers accepted
