• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• PALS, NRP, CHEMO, EFM, and others depending on unit (not required for ICU RN)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • Must be completed within 30 days prior to start
  • Includes Social Security Address Check (last 15 years), National Criminal Search, Sex Offender Search, Education Verification, and others
  • International searches if applicable
• Licenses:

  • Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
  • State license must be active and valid
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 12 months clearing employee to work without restrictions
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Tdap
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific declination forms required
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (no instant tests)
• Fit Mask Testing:

  • Required for all candidates except students
  • Specific approved masks listed; onsite fit testing may be accommodated with approval
• Competency Exams:

  • Annual medication/pharmacology competency exam with minimum 80% score
• Facility Specific Documents:

  • Orientation packet acknowledgment, float policy, timekeeping acknowledgment, standard of care acknowledgment, job description, training questionnaire, and others must be reviewed and signed prior to start
  • Badge photo on plain blue background required within 72 hours of signing
• References:

  • Two professional references required, including one from most recent experience
• Work History:
