Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Outpatient Clinic)

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour day shifts

• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of previous OBGYN nursing experience

Required Qualifications

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Wisconsin
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – as required
• Competencies:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
  • Competency Exam (as applicable to specialty)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, and sex offender registry
  • State-specific caregiver search (Wisconsin Caregiver Screening)
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (no TSpot/PPD accepted) or chest X-ray within 60 days of start
  • Immunizations or positive titers for: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days of start (marijuana positive not disqualifying)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• References:

  • Two professional references verified within 2 years of start
  • For inpatient RNs (MS, MS/Tele, IMC, Stepdown, ICU), one reference must be from most recent acute care assignment with performance comments (not applicable here as this is outpatient)
• Additional Documentation:

  • Photo for badge (passport style)
  • Compliance checklist and confidentiality statement to be completed prior to start

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

• Candidates must be prepared to comply with all facility-specific credentialing and health requirements.
