Registered Nurse (ER Nights) - Travel/Contract

Location: Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Setting: Emergency Room

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (3x12s)
• Start Date: ASAP preferred
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Minimum Commitment: 1 year
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• License: Must be licensed to work in Arkansas
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Required for ER RNs
• Experience: First-time travelers are welcome
• Rate: Same for local travelers

Required Background Checks & Verifications

• Background check within 1 year including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender, Education Verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check prior to start
• HHS/OIG check prior to start
• Education verification of highest level attained
• State license primary source verification and NURSYS verification prior to start and upon expiration

Competencies & Exams

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exam relevant to profession/specialty

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year or chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
• TB questionnaire annually if positive TB or in lieu of annual TB test
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination or documented declination (2025-26 season)
• Drug screening within 12 months of start

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (updated annually)
• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
• Skills checklist required
