Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Marrero, Louisiana
• Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 48 hours per week
• Weekends required
• Every other holiday required
• Scrub color: navy
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• CPI; may be completed onsite within 30 days of start if not already certified
• State License 1 Verification within 30 days of start
• NURSYS Verification within 30 days of start
• 7 years of work history with no gap more than 30 days
• Government-issued photo ID with name matching candidate documentation
• Background check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Competency Exam within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III, each updated annually
• Physical Exam within 12 months of start
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 3 months of start
• TB Questionnaire, updated annually
• Rubeola (Measles) immunity documentation
• Mumps immunity documentation
• Rubella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella immunity documentation
• Drug Testing within 30 days of start
• Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation for 2026–27

Notes

• Holiday blackout dates: 11/26, 12/24, and 12/25
• Any holiday week RTO is likely to be denied
• CPI can be obtained at the facility for $100
