Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN position in Issaquah, Washington
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Post Partum experience
  • Labor and Delivery experience

Unit Details

  • Level II NICU caring for unstable newborns 32 weeks and greater
  • Attends all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries

Clinical Responsibilities / Skills

  • Breathing treatments
  • Chest tube setup and care
  • CPAP/BiPAP
  • Procedure sedation
  • RSI drugs
  • Cooling/warming blanket
  • Drains
  • Feeding tubes
  • PICC/central lines
  • Syringe pumps
  • GYN surgeries
  • Couplet care
  • Transition nursery

Scheduling / Work Expectations

  • Floating may be required to postpartum and L&D
  • Weekends required to meet staffing needs
