Pediatric Echo Tech

Overview

  • Travel/contract assignment in Washington, DC
  • Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • No overtime, weekends, or holidays
  • Scrubs must be child-friendly
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of pediatric echocardiography experience
  • Pediatric echocardiography experience within the last year
  • RDCS, CCI, or RCCS certification
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • CHEMO
  • State license verification
  • NURSYS verification
  • National tech certification verification

Required Pre-Start Items

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM
  • HHS/OIG
  • Education verification
  • Physical exam within 30 days of start, including latex allergy information
  • Fit test within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Tdap within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • TB questionnaire
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunization/titer documentation
  • Drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • COVID vaccine or declination for tracking
  • 2 professional references from within the past 2 years

  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam

  • Cornerstone modules and Workramp modules may be required depending on role category
  • Photo for badge required immediately after signing

  • Hep B declination, medical flu exemption, religious flu exemption, and TB conversion record are required only if applicable
