Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend: Friday and Saturday nights
- Float required within OSU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Telemetry experience
- Emergency Contact Form

- BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 1 year of start
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start
- License verification within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
- Tdap
- MMR immunity or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, and rubella
- Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination documentation
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Ohio State variable schedule attestation for OR employees is required if booked under the applicable OR cost center and schedule conditions

- Corrections unit for Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections inmates
- Locked unit requiring access from a Corrections Officer to enter
Additional Notes
- Candidates with only 1 year of experience will not receive auto offers and must be reviewed by the manager
- Patient population includes oncology patients, patients admitted for oncology workup, and patients with a history of cancer admitted for other reasons
