Cath Lab Tech

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Charleston, West Virginia
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30a–5:00p
On-call required
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Daily caseload: 8–10 cases per tech
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in West Virginia
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention, including Structural
First-timers are not accepted
Active WV license required to start
ARRT registered required to start
Valid driver’s license required
Social Security Card required
ACLS required
BLS required
ACT and AVOX certification required
Must complete a 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start
Must complete EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and Sex Offender Search within 30 days of start
Must complete state license verification and Nursys verification within 30 days of start
Must complete required facility onboarding documents and health screenings before start, including physical exam, fit testing, TB screening, drug screen, and vaccination/compliance requirements

Weekend coverage is call only
On-call response time: 30 minutes
Weekend call runs Friday 7:00p through Monday 7:00a
Call rotates between primary and backup coverage

Float / Assignment Scope

May float within scope if needed, but will more than likely stay in Cath Lab
Does not float to sister facilities

Pending state license may be submitted, but active WV license must be in hand to start
RCIS is not considered licensed for Cath Lab work
